Introduction
Welcome to Pabana Gau Shala, an initiative operated by the villagers of Pabana under the spiritual guidance and organization of Shree Jyankinath Gau Seva Sansthan Pabana. Founded in March 2025, this Gau Shala is a symbol of the village’s deep-rooted commitment to cow protection, community welfare, and traditional values. Located on the Mandir Bhu Maffi land of Pabana Gram Panchayat, Laxmangarh Road, Pabana, the Gau Shala is operated with full consent and support of the villagers, who have no objection to its use for this sacred purpose. The land shall always remain a part of the temple’s spiritual and cultural domain.
Our Story
Pabana Gau Shala was born from a shared vision of the villagers to create a sanctuary for cows—managed solely by the people of Pabana. With unity and devotion, the villagers collectively registered Shree Jyankinath Gau Seva Sansthan Pabana to ensure transparent and smooth operation of the Gau Shala. Every member and designated person involved in the management belongs to Pabana village. The Sansthan operates the Gau Shala according to the collective will and advice of the villagers, maintaining the cultural and spiritual significance of the land and the temple.
Farm Tours
We welcome visitors to explore the values and traditions of rural India through our farm tours. At Pabana Gau Shala, you can interact with cows, observe our organic and community-driven practices, and experience the warmth of village hospitality. Our tours offer an authentic glimpse into the harmonious relationship between humans, animals, and nature, guided by the principles of compassion and sustainability.
Sustainability
At Pabana Gau Shala, sustainability is not just a practice—it’s a way of life. From organic feeding methods to eco-conscious maintenance, everything is managed with an aim to protect the environment and promote ethical animal care. The Gau Shala is powered by community effort and traditional wisdom, helping preserve the ecological balance of our village. With each step, we strive to ensure that the legacy of our culture, cows, and land is protected for future generations.
Mission & Vision
Our mission is to protect and nurture cows in accordance with Sanatan Dharma, while fostering community unity and rural self-reliance. We envision a sacred, sustainable space where every cow is respected, cared for, and loved by the collective spirit of Pabana.
